whiskey barrel wedding decor

As you can probably image, the buying part of Mrs. Vintage is always the most fun. Rob and I set out on the weekends for the country, and usually come home with a truck full of vintage. A few weekends back, on a sunny Saturday afternoon, we hit the road for Mississippi in search of authentic Jack Daniel’s whiskey barrels. The search lead us to a farmer, world traveler and entrepreneur, who had loads of stories to tell. He had two warehouses full of furniture, antiques, rusty bits and bobs, garden decor, and, of course, whiskey barrels. He sells the barrels by the HUNDREDS to local breweries and perhaps moonshiners. Getting a tour of his farm and listening to his stories being told in a thick southern Mississippi accent made it feel as if we’d stepped back in time 100 years.

Here are a few photos from our adventure, as well as creative ways to incorporate barrels into your wedding decor! Enjoy!

He had just purchased this beautiful antique tractor, and it works! Circa 1930’s.

Hi Amanda! Thanks for stopping by our blog! The barrels were found from a random man getting rid of them. Are you needing them for an event? Because we rent them out and can deliver to Mississippi. Just e-mail me at hello@mrsvintagerentals.com for pricing!

I have been browsing online more than 2 hours today, yet I
never found any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me.

In my view, if all site owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the
web will be much more useful than ever before.

I do not even know how I ended up right here, however I believed this post was once great.
I don’t understand who you might be but certainly you’re going to a well-known blogger
for those who are not already. Cheers!
