I remember feeling a little weird when I first started our wedding registry. Wasn’t it in poor taste to basically pick out gifts then ask your closest friends and family to buy them for you? If you are feeling the same way right about now, take it from me, DON’T. It is so important to register for things you really need otherwise Aunt Sally is going to end up getting you an all too expensive and non-returnable crystal bowl. I still don’t know what to do with a giant crystal bowl.
Today, I wanted to share with you some of my favorites from Williams Sonoma, and also expose you to their new line Open Kitchen, which highlights affordable, staple kitchen items for the home chef. ANNNNNNDDDD just ’cause I’m always looking for the best deal, everything I’ve picked today is UNDER $100! Hooray!
And to top it all off, WilliamS Sonoma is giving away a Dream Registry worth $5000! Um yes, I know, amazing. I wish I could go back and get married all over again.
This is New Orleans after all, and let’s just say, we know how to enjoy a good cocktail and throw a good party. Making drinks at home can be super stylish with these Williams Sonoma essentials. Clockwise from top left: Monogrammed Bar Tools // Platinum Rimmed Old Fashioned Glasses // Monogrammed Cocktail Shaker // Hemstitch Cocktail Napkins (which can also be monogrammed!). As you can see, I’m a huge fan of monogrammed wedding gifts, it just makes the gift a little more personal.
I can’t do a Williams Sonoma post and not mention cheese. They have so many great items for the cheese connoisseur. From top left: Goat Cheese Baker // Cheese Papers (to wrap up and label open cheese) // Bone Handled Cheese Knives // Marble Cheese Board // European Cheese Subscription.
Cooking at home is a breeze when you have the best tools. From top left: Large Lodge Fry Pan (my hubby swears by these) // Classic Cook’s Apron // John McLeod Maple End Grain Cutting Board (I could do a whole other blog post on the benefits of an end grain cutting board) // Open Kitchen Chef’s Knife.
Ahh, and the best of the best in coffee making. From top left: Buono Kettle (great for slow pour coffee) // Chemex Coffee Maker (this is by far my favorite thing in our kitchen. Makes THE BEST COFFEE. // Le Creuset Sugar and Creamer // Open Kitchen Classic Mugs.
So there you have it, my faves. What are you waiting for? Enter the Dream Registry Sweepstakes today! A big thanks to our friends over at Williams Sonoma for putting on such a lovely giveaway and sponsoring today’s post!
